The Statue Man

Statue man
You picked the cotton
You picked the orange
Hard and scarred
Sad and scared
Big Statue man.

Black hair
Rugged
Strong
No tears drop
Red and yellow
Red and yellow
Tears touch not your cheeks
Statue man.

You survived it all
Earthquakes, Fires, Tornados, Snow.

Statue man met paper sand
File and Chip File and Chip
Pedestal you would not leave
Paper sand sent away
She wept for you
She weeps she weeps.

On pride you stand
With cotton and orange
In red.

Always in red
Dead for years
Seated sit stand
A Statue
The Statue man

She weeps
