I Dreamt of You

A flood.

Intoxicating,

To know how he was, to talk to him.

I missed him.

His kiss.

It wasn’t good.

Offended expected different the taste of gasoline.

Sick Sick Sick and yet I ran to him,

I always did run to fear,

My Consistency Misery,

I Run, from Love.

I run I run I run I run,

You.

I dreamt of your voice.

Conversations,

I dreamt of your voice,

Calm,

Like Me A heart A pain Our pain Our hearts freed.

We spoke I knew,

Husband,

I rose Confused.

Coffined in cells filled with gasoline,

You are not him But I can’t see you,

Don’t let me run away I can’t see,

I run I run I run set me free,

Set me Free.
